Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of laban Massabki
- 350g of melted butter
- 1 ½ cups of cooking oil
- 3 cups of sugar
- 4 cups of flour
- 6 eggs
- 4 tsp of baking powder
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 1 big spoon of whisky
- 1 tsp of lemon skin
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix 6 eggs, 3 cups of sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla, 1 ½ cups of cooking oil.
2. Add 350g of melted butter and add 4 cups of flour. Add 4 tsp of baking powder. Mix well.
3. Add 1 ½ cups of laban Massabki, one big spoon of whiskey, and add 1 tsp of grated lemon skin. Mix again.
4. Spread butter, and add 2 tsp of flour on a baking pan. Then add the mixture into the baking pan. Bake for about 45 minutes at 250˚C, and insert a toothpick or a stick to check if the cake is done. The cake will be ready when nothing sticks to the toothpick.
5. Cool, slice and serve.
This cake is delicious accompanied with some abricot jam or any jam of your choice.
